Like most left-handers he is pretty good square of the wicket but vulnerable nicking off. His bat does not always come down at the right angle, creating opportunities to find the edge early on in his innings. I would say England will bowl orthodox to him. He has only played one Test, so knock him over early at Trent Bridge and it is only natural the gremlins will creep in. England will play the mental game with him. They will remind him he is 35 with only one Test cap. He might cop the odd earful.
