AlcoMate Prestige Alcohol Breathalyzer
 The AlcoMate AL6000P is an advanced breathalyzer which is DOT approved and recommended for use by police and US government agencies. It employs advance features such as breath pressure sensing, extended disposable mouthpiece and cumulative test results.
AlcoScan™ AL6000 is designed based on a highly accurate MEM semiconductor sensor rich in n-type conductivity charges. When exposed to Alcohol, its surface is oxidized resulting in fewer number of free electrons and thus a higher surface resistance. This change in conductivity will be measured and converted to percentage of BAC and later displayed
AlcoMate Prestige displays from 0.000 to 0.400% in .001% BAC. It is accurate to 10% or .01% BAC

AlcoMate Prestige Replacement
Sensor
IMPORTANT NOTE: There
are two un-interchangeable sensor modules available
for the Alcomate Prestige. Please read the followings
carefully before you order any replacement sensor.
To order a correct
sensor for your previously purchased AlcoMate
Prestige, please watch out for the color of
your old sensor's circuit board. Order the right
color to ensure compatibility. Sensors with
green circuit board work with all Prestige's
sold prior to December 2007 and sensors with
a red circuit board work for all Prestiges sold
after December 2007 including any new Prestige
you are buying today.
This requires
that you first identify the version of the sensor
in your previously purchased AlcoMate Prestige
before you order any replacement sensor module.
If you are ordering an AlcoMate Prestige for
the first time you must order the "Red

Pre Calibrated Field Replaceable
Sensor Module
ALcoMate Prestige is the first breathalyzer
that offers pre calibrated and field
replaceable modules (patent-pending)
in the market. One of the main problems
with using breathalyzers in critical
applications is that the alcohol sensor
requires periodic calibration. Unfortunately,
the calibration process requires that
the breathalyzer be physically mailed
or taken to a professional service center.
The process is costly for both consumer
and service center, and the delay of
processing and shipping back-and-forth
can be quite a loss. |

The Pre-Calibrated
Replaceable Alcohol Sensor Module can eliminate the delays and complications
of re-calibration by allowing you to
simply "snap out" an old module and
"snap in" a new one. This way, you can
get back to reliable and accurate testing
in a matter of few minutes! |

Prepare
your AlcoMate Prestige. |
|
|
Use
a flat, sharp tool to carefully open the
top cover. |
|
|
Lift
the breath tube to access the sensor module. |
|
| |
|
|
|
| |
Remove
the breath tube. It should remove easily |
|
|
Carefully
raise the sensor module from the body.
Do NOT detach the cable from the body. |
|
|
Remove
the cable from the slot underneath the
sensor module. |
|

|
|
|
| |
Prepare
a new pre-
calibrated sensor module |
|
|
Insert
the cable into the new sensor. Make
sure the blue strip is toward the sensor,
as shown. |
|
|
Replace
the sensor module into its original
position. |
|

|
Ready For Use
|

Re-attach the
breath tube directly on to the sensor.
Make sure the front opening is aligned.
|
|
|
Re-attach
the cover on to the top of the body.
It should snap in fairly easily. |

| The precalibrated and field replaceable sensor module has eliminated
delays and complications of recalibration by allowing users
to simply "snap out" an old sensor module and "snap in" a
new one. Restoring a reliable and accurate testing unit takes
only a matter of seconds and it only costs $29.95 for each
sensor module. This will restore the unit back to its condition
as new from the factory. |
