Staying away from others won't niecssarely keep you from being falsely accused. I was arrested because I fit the description of a suspect, sort of. Ultimately, it turned out that even though I was at home with my family at the time in question, AND the police decided that the witness had made it all up, the arrest still follows me around, 12 years later. A law enforcement friend tells me that even if I get the record expunged, cops will still see on their computers that I was arrested. Keeping all that in mind, don't forget that there ARE good lawyers and judges and law enforcement officers out there, along with the bad ones. Just don't assume you're dealing with a good one. The advice to insist on warrants, and to not answer questions without your attorney present, is GOOD advice.
