Return Merchandise Authorization

Thank you for purchasing from AlcoTesters.com.  We regret that you have experienced difficulties with our products.  We are committed to your satisfaction, and will happily process your return or exchange according to our policies, but please follow our procedures.

Determine whether your merchandise is returnable If you can answer YES to the following questions, you may request a return.

  • Is your product clean? Merchandise must be complete and in NEW condition, free of dirt, scratches, or defect. If your product is not returnable to stock as new, it will not be refundable.
  • Your return is not any disposable item such as BreathScan or disposable mouthpieces. Due to health hazard, these products are not returnable even if they are still in their original packaging.
  • Is it within 15 days of receipt of merchandise? Merchandise older then 15 days will not be accepted for a refund.

To ensure you are properly credited, obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) by completing the following online form. Don't forget to press the "Submit" button.

Within 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) you will receive an RMA number.  You must have the RMA number before your returns are accepted by us.  Again, no return will be accepted without an RMA number.

When do I receive my refund or exchange?
When we receive your product back, we will inspect it. After it has been determined to be clean and returnable to stock, we will issue the appropriate credit or replacement.

Instructions:

Pack the unit securely using original packing materials.  We are not responsible for damages incurred during return shipping to our facilities.

Write the Return Merchandise Authorization number on the shipping label.

Include the following information on a separate sheet:

A. Return Merchandise Authorization number

B. Your Name, Shipping Address, and Day Time Telephone Number.

C. Model Number and description of the product you are returning.

D. Proof of Purchase (i.e. a copy of your invoice, email or your packing slip) -Must include      purchase date.

Use UPS, Fed Ex, or US postal  service with the tracking number to ship the package(s) to the following address:

IMPORTANT:

  1. The shipment must be prepaid and insured.  Alcotesters.com will not accept "freight Collect" shipments, nor will be responsible for packages lost in transition.
  2. Due to health hazard, disposable devices and BreathScan are not returnable in any situation.
  3. Fax or email a copy of this form completed to returns@alcotesters.com and include the tracking number of package(s) with the returned goods.
  4. We cannot and will not accept items that are shown to have been abused, altered, or broken, whether accidental or intentional.
  5. After 30 days, all products returned for repair or exchange must accompany a $10.00 check to cover the return shipping cost.

Returns are processed within 10 days of their receipt and refunds are credited. If you are returning your product for refund, a 25% restocking fee will be applied to cover our return processing, credit card fees, packing, shipping and other restocking expenses.  But, if you are exchanging the product, we will issue full credit toward the purchase of a new product of the same or higher value. Shipping charges are not refundable.
